Harold Buttleman, Daredevil Stuntman

There is a long story behind this, but in short, my buddy, director Francis Stokes, wrote and shot a feature-length movie with me and John Hawkes and the voice of Homer Simpson and Karen Black and others a few years ago about a small town dude who thinks he's the next Evil Knievel. It played the festival circuit and has been sporadically available on DVD. Anyway, in light of a certain movie studio making a certain movie that is almost, well, the exact same movie, Frank has decided to release to movie in its entirety on YouTube in 3 days (and later, on DVD for internet sales and downloads). In anticipation, he's been posting clips. Unfortunately, in this one, my ass makes an appearance.



In other related news, Frank was finally able to announce that we sold God, Inc to the Sci-Fi Network. Frank and I will be teaming on writing a half-hour pilot for the network based on Frank's online web series. Once we're done with the pilot script, they'll decide whether or not to pay us to shoot it. (I'm doing the same thing on my own with USA; script first, pilot only if they choose.) So for now we have no idea if all or any of the original cast would get to be in it. But this is the first step and it's very exciting. Here's the announcement on that. Thankfully my ass doesn't make an appearance.
